To grow revenue and market share by identifying opportunities, winning contracts, and building long-term client relationships in physical and electronic security services.
Salary-GHC 5,000 net.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
1. Market & Opportunity Development
- Identify new business opportunities in:
- CCTV & surveillance
- Access control systems
- Alarm & monitoring services
- Guarding services
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Identify emerging security risks and client needs.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Prospect and engage: Banks, Corporate offices, Government institutions, Residential estates
- Maintain strong client relationships.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for key accounts.
3. Proposal, Tender & Contract Management
- Prepare and submit: Proposals, Bids, RFQs/RFPs
- Coordinate with technical teams on system design and costing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
4. Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
- Set revenue targets and growth plans.
- Upsell and cross-sell security solutions.
- Track sales performance and forecasts.
5. Product & Solution Knowledge
- Understand and explain:
- CCTV systems
- Access control
- Intrusion detection
- Integrated security platforms
- Translate technical solutions into business value for clients.
6. Partnerships & Vendor Relations
- Build relationships with:
- Equipment manufacturers
- Distributors
- Technology partners
- Negotiate favorable pricing and support arrangements.
7. Customer Satisfaction & Retention
- Ensure successful project handover.
- Address client concerns promptly.
- Support renewals, upgrades, and expansions.
8. Compliance & Ethical Sales
- Ensure all sales comply with:Industry standards, Data protection laws, Company ethics policies
- Avoid over-promising or misrepresentation.
9. Reporting & Management Communication
- Prepare: Sales reports, Pipeline forecasts, Market intelligence updates
- Advise management on growth strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Business Administration
- Marketing
- Management
- Security & Risk Management
- Engineering or IT (added advantage)
- Professional Certifications (Advantage)
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Sales or marketing certifications
- Vendor certifications (Hikvision, ZKTeco, Axis, etc.)
Experience
3–7 years in:
- Business development
- B2B sales
- Security services or technology solutions
- Proven record of winning contracts and meeting targets.
