Industrial mechanic

Job Summary:

The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair machinery, mechanical systems, and production equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and replace or repair defective parts.
• Install new machines and ensure proper alignment, calibration, and testing.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work orders.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify equipment issues and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure all equipment meets operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical training or certification in mechanical engineering, industrial mechanics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience working with industrial machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Good physical stamina and ability to handle heavy tools and equipment.
